Chronic Long Beach opened in 2010 · before state licensing, before Measure MM, before most of today's shops existed. We helped write the local playbook and we've served this city through every version of the rules since.

We're a licensed adult-use microbusiness (C12-0000017-LIC) on Santa Fe Avenue: same corner, same crew, cannabis with receipts. Everything on the menu is state-tracked, lab-tested, and priced like we actually live here.

The timeline

2010
Doors open on Santa Fe Avenue · years before California's state licensing system existed. A collective serving the Westside from day one.
2016
Long Beach voters pass Measure MM, restoring legal dispensary access in the city. We were part of the campaign · and part of the reason it passed.
2018
California adult-use sales begin. We transition into the licensed era and earn our state microbusiness license, C12-0000017-LIC.
Today
A vertically-integrated microbusiness under CAL HGH LLC · retail, house-made originals, and a founding seat in the Long Beach Collective Association fighting for fair access and lower cannabis taxes citywide.

What we stand for

Compliance with receipts. Every product is tracked in Metrc and tested by a licensed California lab. Ask for the COA on any batch · the crew will pull it up.

Neighborhood pricing. We live here. The menu is priced for the Westside, Wrigley, and Downtown · not for tourists.

Local advocacy. As founding members of the LBCA we push for policy that keeps legal cannabis affordable and accessible in every Long Beach neighborhood.
